Michigan's Connection to the Polar Express In-Person
Dean Pyers, a volunteer with the Steam Railroading institute of Owosso will talk about how one of Michigan's historic trains served as the inspiration for the train feautred in the movie The Polar Express. He will cover the history of the locomotive, a bit about the railroads in Michigan, the history of the group that now owns & operates 1225, and his involvement with the Polar Express movie.
